Buz Muse has been in the real estate business for over 35 years. He started off as an associate broker for J.R. Fulton and Company before earning 5 sales awards (including Salesman of the Year) and a promotion to Vice President of the company. After leaving J.R. Fulton in 1987 to become the Director of Retail Leasing for Price Edwards, Buz increased space absorption by 260%, revenue by 300%, profit by 102% and created the bi-annual Shopping Center Survey in 1988. That survey is now the standard fixture in local and national news agencies for Oklahoma Retail properties. Buz then created and developed the now famed Investment Division of Price Edwards. Within 5 years, he had grown the division to $160 million in sales of which he personally handled $44 million. Despite his great success in brokerage, Buz always had the development bug. So in 1997, he started Renaissance Real Estate group. Renaissance Group is a development company that reflects Buz’s diverse experience with retail, multifamily, residential and office.
Since its founding, Renaissance was responsible for pioneering a 221 D4 HUD program with Continental Securities for the Oklahoma market. It developed and operated the first Class A apartment complex in Norman, Oklahoma, the 228-unit, Renaissance at Norman project. Buz also developed the 147 unit Class A StoneCreek Apartment complex in Ardmore, Oklahoma and the Class A 128 unit Villas at Grand Lake.
